The R. Tait McKenzie Lecture
The
R. Tait McKenzie Lecture is a standing highlight of the national
convention as an all convention evening session. Initiated in 1967 to
honor the life and work of this pioneer in both the arts and sciences of
sport and physical activity, the Lecture recognizes an outstanding
professional outside of the HPERD fields whose work has the potential to
infuse the organization with new ideas for implementation and new
directions for exploration.
