We’re happy to report that the SHAPE America Online Institute (the last service needing to be restored) is now accessible. If interested, you can log into the SHAPE America Online Institute to:

  • View previously purchased learning opportunities (from the “Enrolled” tab under “My Transcript”);
  • Download transcripts/certificates for previously completed learning opportunities (from the “Grades” tab under “My Transcript”); and
  • View free learning opportunities in the course catalog.

We are currently updating the complete catalog, and any items that require a purchase will be available once that transition is complete.

The SHAPE America Online Institute delivers self-paced, effective professional development for K-12 health and physical educators.   
With this all-new learning platform, you can:

We've compiled a list of common questions to help you get started. 

How can I view the course catalog?

You must be logged in to the online institute to browse the course catalog. Log in using your SHAPE America member username and password or create a free nonmember account.

How do I access a no-cost/free item?

All items that are free to all or included with membership will have a button that says “launch” under the title. Simply click “launch” to gain access. After the first launch, this item will be accessible in the “My Transcript” tab of your Dashboard in the Online Institute.

How do I purchase an item?

We are currently updating the complete catalog, and any items that require a purchase including CHES credits and online courses, will be available once that transition is complete.

Why can’t I find my materials in my transcript?

If you are having trouble locating your information, please contact Member Services at [email protected] or 800-213-7193.

How can I access my certificates of completion/certificates of contact hour?

SHAPE America contact hour(s) (SACH) are available through the Online Institute. The Online Institute provides a comprehensive transcript of all completed items, which is also available in PDF format. When you have completed a course or passed an exam, your certificates will show up under the item in the “Grades” tab of “My Transcript.” Locate the appropriate item, then click “Certificate” to access your certificate. Please note that you will need to check with your district and/or licensing agency to see if SHAPE America contact hours will count towards your professional development and/or licensure requirements.
