Fun At Bat Physical Education Curriculum

Fun at Bat is a bat-and-ball skills-development program for all children. The overarching goal of this program is topromote fun and active lifestyles for children, while teaching them the fundamental skills of bat-and-ball sports.

Jr. NBA Physical Education Curriculum
Instructional Tools & Resources

In the Jr. NBA Grades K-2 curriculum the focus is on introducing and providing opportunities to practice fundamental motor skills in an encouraging, noncompetitive environment. The goal of the Jr. NBA Grades K-2 curriculum is to engage in activities that form a foundation of motor skills through skills practice.

In the Jr. NBA Grades 3–5 curriculum, the focus is on building fundamental motor skills and providing opportunities to practice those skills in an encouraging, noncompetitive environment. The goal of the Jr. NBA Grades 3–5 curriculum is for students to develop an extended base of fundamental motor skills through practice, while having fun.

In the Jr. NBA Grades 6-8 curriculum, the focus shifts toward team concepts, while still heavily emphasizing skill development. The goal of the Grades 6-8 curriculum is to have students begin applying tactics and strategies more directly to modified game situations.

NFL FLAG Football School Curriculum

This NFL FLAG Football curriculum was created for use in elementary school physical education classes. The activities in this curriculum are appropriate for use with students between grades 3-5 (ages 8-10) and are designed to be delivered during a standard 40 minute physical education class over the course of two weeks (or 10 lessons).

This NFL FLAG Football curriculum was created for use in middle school physical education classes. The activities in this curriculum are appropriate for use with students between grades 6-8 (ages 11-14) and are designed to be delivered during a standard 40 minute physical education class over the course of two weeks (or 10 lessons).

This NFL FLAG Football curriculum was created for use in high school physical education classes. The activities in this curriculum are appropriate for use with students between grades 9–12 (ages 14 to 18) and are designed to be delivered during a standard 60 minute physical education class over the course of two weeks (or 10 lessons).
