Important Deadlines
To be sure your session information is included in all relevant materials, please make sure you meet all of these deadlines:
  • January 25, 2017 – Last date for presenters to register for Convention and get the discounted SHAPE America rate
  • February 8, 2017 – Last date for presenters to book their housing through SHAPE America’s discounted hotel block
  • March 14-18, 2017 – Submit session handouts using the email link you received for the speaker website at least 24 hours prior to your session
  • March 14-18, 2017 – SHAPE America National Convention & Expo, Boston, Massachusetts
PLEASE NOTE: Participants are required to register for the SHAPE America National Convention & Expo and book their housing and travel. If you have accepted an invitation to present, but have not registered for the convention by January 25, your name and session is not guaranteed to be listed in the convention schedule.

Session Rooms All session rooms at the national convention will be equipped with a microphone, LCD projector, screen, and sound. Participants will be required to supply their own laptops.

The 2017 SHAPE America National Convention & Expo is a "paper-light" event. No program book or printed handouts will be distributed at the convention. All materials for education sessions and programming, including session evaluations, will be available on the SHAPE America website and through the convention mobile app. 

Continuing Education

SHAPE America offers opportunities for professional development through participation in specified national convention program sessions. These sessions are designated with a mortar board cap icon in the mobile app. Provided below are the details related to the Certified Health Education Specialist (CECH) and National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) CEU programs. Note that additional fees associated with this program.
