When will the SHAPE America Virtual National Convention & Expo take place?
The virtual event will be on the same days we planned to host the in-person event – Tuesday, April 13 through Saturday, April 17, 2021. Take a look at our Schedule-at-a-Glance! The preliminary program will be posted in the coming weeks.

What are the registration rates and how do I register?
Registration rates are now available on the convention website. Registration is now open!

I need to get administrative approval in order to register for the event. Do you have any resources that can help with this approval process?
Our 2021 Justification Toolkit includes Tips for Speaking With Your Supervisor, a Needs/Benefits Table that can help you develop talking points, and a Template Letter you can customize and send to your supervisor. View the toolkit here.

Can I submit a proposal for the virtual event?
At this time, SHAPE America is not accepting any additional proposals for the virtual event.

When will notifications be sent out for all proposals already submitted for the 2021 national convention?
You should have already received your notification. If you have not received notification of your proposal status yet, please reach out to us at proposals@shapeamerica.org. As a reminder, notifications are only sent to the planner (presentation sessions) or presenting author (research abstracts) for each session; all listed speakers are not notified.

I already transferred my registration from the 2020 convention to the 2021 SHAPE America National Convention & Expo. What happens to my registration now that the event is virtual?
We will automatically register you for the virtual national convention, so there is nothing you need to do. We will process your refund for the difference in registration cost. If you don't want to attend the virtual convention, please email askmembership@shapeamerica.org and we will refund you the full amount.

I already reserved an exhibit booth for the 2021 SHAPE America National Convention & Expo. What happens to my reservation now that the event is virtual?
You will have the opportunity to transfer your existing reservation to one of our virtual exhibit packages; any difference in rate will be refunded. If you prefer not to participate virtually, please email exhibits@shapeamerica.org and we will refund the full amount paid to date, less the non-refundable 25% deposit.

My organization is interested in having a virtual exhibit space for the event. Where can I find information on the rates and package inclusions?
