50 Million Strong by 2029 Forum:
Shaping Our Professional Future
Tuesday, 3/14 1-5 p.m.

At the 2015 National Convention in Seattle, SHAPE America committed to getting America’s approximately 50 million school-aged students physically active and healthy by 2029.

The first 300 attendees will receive a free 50 Million Strong logo T-shirt!
This commitment recognized growing public concern about the negative social, emotional, intellectual, financial, and health consequences of youth inactivity and unhealthy lifestyle choices. Focusing the health and physical education profession on succeeding with the student-centered 50 Million Strong commitment, has given SHAPE America and the teachers it represents, many exciting opportunities to elevate public support and respect for the work of K-12 physical and health educators.

The 50 Million Strong by 2029 Forum will include a wide variety of fast-paced, engaging updates, presentations, and roundtable audience discussions on opportunities and challenges facing SHAPE America.

Don’t miss out on what promises to be one of the highlights of the 2017 Boston Convention. Be sure to register in advance to ensure your place and be a part of history as we rethink and reimagine a road map to advance the physical and health education professions in the 21st century.
